WHO WE ARE: THE RECTOR

Sue Phillipson-Masters moved to The Stanleys in 2000. She entered the ministry from an education background. She was a specialist PE teacher having trained at Chelsea College of PE and then taught in a number of schools before being called into full-time ministry.
She trained for the ministry at Trinity College Bristol, was ordained deacon in Bath and Wells diocese in 1989. She has particular interests in Music and Liturgy and  Church School Education.
She takes acts of worship in both schools in the parish - Leonard Stanley Voluntary Aided Church of England school and Kings Stanley Voluntary Controlled  Church of England school.
Sue is also chaplain and Independent Visitor at the prep and pre-prep departments of Wycliffe College, in Stonehouse where she also leads acts of worship.
