There are strong links between the churches and the schools in the villages, and during holiday times the church often runs clubs for the children. On a regular basis there is a group for pre-school children – Time4Tots; one for primary age children – Time4Jam and Sunday Club. We try to encourage children to help when we have family services and to encourage them not only to come, but also to take part  and select songs, write prayers and be really involved in the service.

TIME4TOTS is a group that meets on Thursday mornings in St George’s Church, and provides a time for mums to bring their little ones who are not yet school age. They learn songs, have a storytime and learn about Jesus together. Mums, grannies, grandads and carers are able to help the children with some craft activities and enjoy time together. (PICTURES)
